Love the Nugget, especially when Marley is our bartender. She makes the best Bloddy Mary! So good I slurped it almost completely away before snapped a picture. Some of the best truffle fries around, perfectly balanced. Great place to grab a drink and a snack and hang out

South Jersey Country Western atmosphere with fantastic buffalo wings. Wings on the smaller side, but they provide more flavor that way their sauce is very good. Make sure to get extra sauce as my last order came with just a coating on the wings and just a little bit on the bottom of the container Definitely a country music vibe for those that love it. We love the takeout. People are friendly. Pick up is at the bar area.

I just got takeout from the Golden Nugget Tavern. Here the service was really fast it took approximately 10 minutes maybe less. Also their staff were really nice and caring. They apologized for the wait which was only 10 minutes. The restaurant was very entertaining enjoyable and loud, they even had live music. The restaurant is amazing and I would definitely recommend it and come back!

The food is good. The service is very nice and friendly. We enjoy stopping on a Friday night, grabbing a sandwich and a beer, watching a ball game on one of their many TVs and listening to a live band weekly while watching the patrons enjoying line dancing.

Wings bomb!!!! I don't eat in because the crowd just isn't for me Wings are crispy without asking, and adding the "wet" option makes them extra saucy.

For years, the Golden Nugget Tavern has been on my radar, and I finally decided to drop by. This hidden gem, off the beaten path, did not disappoint and certainly won't be the last time I stop in. First impressions? It's an old-school bar and grill with a lively vibe. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. I was pleasantly shocked by the unbelievable specials - all-day $2 PBRs and a $1.25 meatball sandwich that was really freaking good. The place had a nice crowd, all of whom were friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Now, having heard about their wings for years, I had to try them. They were decent, but they serve half wings, which is a bit of a letdown. Any real wing bar serves full wings - otherwise, it can feel like they don't quite know what they're doing. The sauce had a bit of spice, but nothing overwhelming. I'd rate the wings a 7.3. Given that this place is less than 30 minutes from Pic-a-lilli Inn, the gold standard for wings on the mid-East Coast, I expected a little more from the Golden Nugget's wings. Nonetheless, the ambiance and other food options make it a great spot. I'll definitely be back for those, but when I'm really craving wings, I'll head up 206 to the "Pic."

I got lost in the neighborhood, remembered this dive bar famous for its wings was somewhat nearby and stumbled in on a Sunday. Soooo many questions. It's just about noon - there are only about 5 people in the bar and about 34 cars in the parking lot. Lots of people must have had a good time last night. I walked in and I felt like every head swiveled to look at me in the darkness of your classic dive bar - broken stools, loud country music, single men nursing beers spaced two seats apart, and an overly friendly bar mistress with a big bust, skinny legs and a huge smile. She introduced me to everyone who worked behind the bar and then rang a bell loudly just to make sure everyone knew I was a virgin - at least a virgin to the bar. She asked what kind of beer I wanted, and I said the kind that came in a Diet Coke glass, and she laughed so hard that I laughed at her laughing. She recommended their traditional wings and yup, now I know why everyone loves them. Are they huge? No, but they are meaty. And crispy. And the sauce was the perfect combination of hot and spicy without being too hot or two spicy. Dang, I might just have found my favorite dive bar.
